Mitchell Isaac, MD is a board-certified Otolaryngology-head and neck surgeon. Doctor Isaac completed his undergraduate education at Presbyterian College graduating in 2013, with Honors Summa Cum Laude with a degree in physics. Doctor Isaac continued his post-graduate education at the Medical University of South Carolina(MUSC), graduating with a medical doctorate degree and achieving numerous academic honors along the way. Doctor Isaac completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at MUSC in 2022. During his last year of training at MUSC, he served as a chief resident.
Throughout residency, he received many accolades and conducted award-winning research in the field of ear surgery. Several of his research endeavors resulted in publications. Throughout his time as a resident at MUSC, the otolaryngology residency training program there consistently ranked within the top 10 in the country according to Doximity. Upon completion of his training, Doctor Isaac passed all examinations and completed all requirements set forth by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is officially a board-certified Otolaryngologist.
At Conway Medical Center Ear, Nose, and Throat, Dr. Isaac is a staff Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. He practices the full breadth of general Otolaryngology for the adult and pediatric population. Dr. Isaac's clinical and surgical interests include, but are not limited to: ear pathology and ear surgery; eardrum repair surgery; sensorineural and conductive hearing loss; dizziness/vertigo; sleep disordered breathing/obstructive sleep apnea; thyroid surgery; parathyroid surgery; head and neck cancer; salivary gland pathology and surgery; nasal airway surgery; and sinus surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Isaac enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, exercising/weightlifting, boating, and traveling.
