Board Certified in Wound Care by the American Board of Wound Management

Amanda Larson MD, FACS, CWSP was born in Charleston, SC. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and the Medical University of South Carolina, she completed her residency in General Surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Larson started her practice in General Surgery in South Carolina in 2013. She transitioned to full-time Wound Care in 2019. Dr. Larson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds certification in Wound Care from the American Board of Wound Management.

Outside of her career, Dr. Larson spends her free time with family and friends enjoying the water and outdoors. She also enjoys reading, listening to history podcasts, and the New Orleans Saints.
