COASTAL CAROLINAS HEALTH ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBER HOSPITAL
WILMINGTON, N.C. – August 17, 2018 – Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance (CCHA) is pleased to announce that Conway Medical Center (CMC), a nonprofit medical center servicing Conway, South Carolina, and its surrounding communities, has joined its network of twelve member and affiliate hospitals throughout southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina.
As the newest member of CCHA, CMC will have access to regional group purchasing opportunities, high-fidelity healthcare training through the Mobile Simulation Program, and other collaborative initiatives such as hospital project teams. Work is underway between the two organizations to begin integrating CMC into CCHA’s regional network and several of its high-value contracts.
“CMC’s commitment to its mission of providing the highest quality healthcare to patients and families in their community,” said CCHA CEO, Yvonne Hughes, “aligns perfectly with CCHA’s vision of being a high performing hospital network characterized by collaboration, sustained strength of member hospitals, and a focus on local and regional healthcare issues. We are excited to build a strong and lasting partnership with CMC.”
