I worked as a Paramedic on the ambulance and in the Emergency Room from 1991 until 2001. After completing the Physician Assistant Program, I continued working in emergency and in Family Medicine. I have also worked as a specialty liaison in orthopaedics and hospitalist/internal medicine as well as assisted in establishing a breast clinic in a rural Georgia hospital.
