Dr. Teal graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her family medicine residency here at Conway Medical Center.
She was born and raised here in Conway and is very familiar with CMC. Her parents are both retired CMC physicians, her father an orthopedic hand surgeon and her mother the head of anesthesiology. Dr. Teal married her college sweetheart who is a Myrtle Beach local. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, baking, and do-it-yourself projects.
