CMC Inclement Weather Update
Update from Conway Medical Center – Monday, August 3, 2020
Like all of you, we here at CMC are monitoring the situation with Tropical Storm Isaias, which is expected to be a category 1 hurricane when it makes landfall.
Due to this storm, all of Conway Medical Center’s outpatient and non-essential staff locations/areas will close Monday at 4pm. This includes all provider practice locations on and off the main campus, the Outpatient Diagnostic Center, Rehabilitation Building, and Administration Building. All other departments will be open for business as originally planned on the regular schedule this week as of now. CMC plans to have all locations open for business on a regular schedule on Tuesday with no late starts or opening delays scheduled.
Conway Medical Center’s leadership team continues to monitor the situation holding planning meetings and implementing any necessary changes to our operations. Our hospital occupancy volumes remain high, and we are extremely busy due to the pandemic. Our patients can be assured that CMC is ready and prepared to handle their healthcare needs despite any inclement weather.
