Chaplain Services for Patients, Families and Staff
Chaplains are available 24 hours a day to provide emotional, spiritual, and religious support to patients, families, and staff. To reach a chaplain after hours, on the weekend, or for urgent needs, call 843-347-7111, press “0” for the Operator and ask for the chaplain to be paged.
Our Staff and Volunteer Chaplains represent diverse communities of faith and philosophy. We embrace the healing mission of CMC by offering compassionate spiritual care and emotional support as resources for healing. CMC welcomes religious leaders of all faith traditions to visit their members.
Conway Medical Center’s Chapel is used by patients, family, visitors, and staff as a quiet sanctuary for reflection, meditation, and prayer. Located on the first floor, near the Main Lobby, it is at the heart of a busy medical center where love and compassionate care are necessarily mixed with anxiety and hope.
A grief support group meets the third Thursday of every month, from 3:00-4:00 pm, in the private dining room across from the cafeteria. All are invited. For more info email allen.springer@cmc-sc.com.
If you would like to speak with a chaplain M-F 8:30-5:00, call 843-234-6714.
