Making sure that our resources keep pace with growing health care needs of the Conway Medical Center and its service area is the goal of Conway Medical Center Foundation! The Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of all individuals in the Conway Medical Center service area. Resources for the Foundation derive from fund raising, donations, grants and other sources where appropriate to assure long-term growth and development. The Foundation has seen a steady increase in community involvement in our Special Events that benefit Conway Medical Center programs.
As a not for profit institution, Conway Medical Center relies on funding provided by the Foundation to go beyond the hospital’s traditional role as a critical care provider. The Wellness & Fitness Center and Conway Medical Center’s HEALTHREACH programs, including the mobile van and the Friendship House Medical Clinic were both funded through the community’s generous response to the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
HEALTHREACH programs are having a positive impact throughout the community. Programs aimed at early detection, prevention, intervention and education all serve to raise the standard of health and lower the cost of health care for everyone. However, as our community outreach programs grow in size and scope so does their need for adequate financial support. It is through the Special Events and other contributions that Conway Medical Center is able to provide these services to our community.
