Over 15% of our population live with no health insurance, including the unemployed and those who are employed but have no health coverage. According to the Census Bureau, 12% of Horry County live below the poverty level. Many live in rural areas and have no transportation or access to healthcare services. The current economic outlook makes their needs even more urgent.
The Kingston Golf Classic supports many important initiatives through the CMC HEALTHREACH program and services. When you suppport the Kingston Golf Classic, you are supporting our community, helping to ensure health services and screenings are available for those in our community who might otherwise not have access.
