Philanthropy is key to Conway Medical Center's ability to maintain its role as a healthcare leader in Horry County, while fulfilling its charitable mission.  Each year, employees and hospital volunteers are given the opportunity to give back to CMC through the Employee Giving Campaign.

Donations from our staff help Conway Medical Center invest in such things as capital improvements, community health outreach, continuing staff education and new technology. 

In 2009 the Employee Campaign, "Decades of Caring" raised over $56,000 for Conway Medical Center's Healthreach programs.  The campaign was especially poignant, because it marked the 20th year in a row that the campaign has been supported by the CMC employees.

A presentation sharing historical photos through the years of physicians and staff was shown…truly a walk down memory lane for many long-time employees.  Philip Clayton, CEO of Conway Medical Center, addressed the group and noted that these “tough economic times are a hardship for everyone, especially those in need”. He added that he “understands that individuals will give what they can, as the generosity of CMC employees is widely known.”

The CMC Foundation thanks all employees and volunteers who participated in the campaign this year.  THANK YOU!
