CONWAY, SC–Conway Medical Center (CMC) is pleased to announce Nicholas Hagandora, RN, BSN as the new clinical coordinator for the telemetry unit at CMC.
Hagandora is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care on the telemetry unit. He will provide direction for development and evaluation of all unit personnel.
Hagandora has been employed with CMC since 2014 and previously was the night shift charge nurse on the surgical unit. Before coming to CMC, he worked as a staff nurse for the surgical oncology department at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA and held multiple medical roles within the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. Hagandora received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
CMC’s telemetry unit consists of 35 beds, all private, designed to care for patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week under continuous electronic monitoring. Patients in the telemetry unit require specialized monitoring and include those recently released from the critical care unit at CMC. This unit also contains a four bed psychiatric hold area for patients awaiting evaluation from a mental health provider or placement in a mental health facility.
