CONWAY, SC –Conway Medical Center (CMC) received a Finalist award in Premier’s QUEST® Award for High-value Health Care. QUEST which stands for, Quality, Excellence, Safety with Transparency, is one of the most comprehensive hospital collaborative programs that helps members deliver the best possible care to each patient, every time.
CMC received top performance in five of the six domains of QUEST: Cost of Care, Mortality, Harm, Readmissions, Patient Experience and Evidence-Based Care. In four and a half years of the initiative, QUEST hospitals have helped save nearly 92,000 lives and $9.1 billion in unnecessary costs through the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to more than 80,000 patients. CMC was one of only sixteen finalists out of 330 QUEST hospitals.
CMC also received the Citation of Merit in Premier Partnership for Patients Award. This award recognizes excellence of achievement by Premier members in hospital acquired conditions and readmissions, as part of the Partnership for Patients program.
